Every morning and evening, join us for our daily animal feeding. Guests of all ages are welcome  to meet our horses, chickens, geese, sheep, goats, rabbits, and our singularly mischievous cow, Violetta.  

Animal feeding is a complimentary experience for those who stay or dine with us.

Enjoy a long, exploratory walk through the vineyards, olive groves, and woodlands of le Tolfe. 

Whether by road, bike, or footpaths, there are routes for all age and ability levels surrounding La Torre alle Tolfe. We can recommend several mapped routes via app or GPS. 

Our property is free to explore by those who stay or dine with us.

Rent a bicycle or classic Piaggio Vespa and experience the rolling Tuscan countryside at your own pace. Enjoy the iconic landscapes of vineyards and olive groves that surround La Torre alle Tolfe – our main road is featured every year in the famous Strade Bianche gravel race!

Donatella has been working as a guide in Siena for decades and is uniquely qualified to impart the most fascinating stories about its history and culture. She can tailor your itinerary to include any specific sites you wish to see, or she can take you through the small streets and underground passages to discover the lesser-known side of this incredible city. She is also able to offer an evening tour, which is brilliantly atmospheric and the perfect compliment to dinner in the city.
